The Last Day of Swim Practice for the Summer Season
Today was the last day of practice for the GMST swim season. The kids were all sad that it was over. They all had fun and enjoyed their last day in the pool practicing with the team. They were all trying hard to get ready for City Meet this weekend. I know they have worked so hard and are so excited for this final meet of the summer. They have come so far and improved so very much! They have each improved their times and worked hard on their strokes and their dives. It looks like the Hornback kids are going to be breaststroke swimmers, just like their Mama! :) Kate bypassed all of our hopes and expectations. We remember when it was an achievement just for her to swim from the end of the pool to the ladder and here at the end of the summer, she can swim 50 meters without stopping! She has loved every minute of being in the water with her big brother and sister. Rachel has been swimming 100IM's and Noah has won 5 personal best time ribbons. We are so proud of all of them for their improvement and for the love that they have grown to have for swimming. It makes my heart smile so very big to see them in the pool and to see them loving it! Love.
