Three Cheers for CARS!

He LOVES the Cars. His favorite of the moment - 'Sally'- the blue porsche... hmmmm, wonder why that might be... I think 'Mater' and 'Lightning' are not far behind. We have been collecting these little cars from the McDonald's Happy Meals and they are his new favorite things to play with at the moment. He has wanted the green van from the first time he saw the cars in the display case, 'Fillmore' (played in the movie by George Carlin), but he apparently is rather hard to come by. If anyone finds one they can part with, please e-mail me! ;)
By the way, the movie didn't recieve the greatest reviews, however, everyone in our family (including us "big" kids) absolutely loved it!

7 Months Old Today

SEVEN months old today! Man, the time is flying by! She is sitting up great by herself, although she still topples over pretty often. She has really gotten extremely happy since she can sit up and look around at the world. She's very proud of herself. In addition to her five teeth she LOVES food - any and all food... hers, Noah's, ours, anybodys - so watch out! She talks allllllll the time - this little girl is going to be a busy one, we think. We're loving every minute of it!

He's Cheesing & 5 Teeth

Noah is finally starting to look at the camera and smile again. We could occasionally coax a smile from him, but during the last 6 months he has been stingy with those sweet smiles. He was eating up being in front of the camera yesterday. Hopefully his camera shyness has ended!


5 teeth-
Yep, she has FIVE now! She has two new ones we found today popping through. The second top front one and another top one on the side. This kid is going to have a whole mouth full of teeth soon!

It was an Itsy-Bitsy, Teeny-Weeny Pink & Orange Tie Dyed Bikini...

...that she wore for the first time today - Seriously, how cute is that? I couldn't resist this tiny little pink and orange bikini for Rachel. It is so hot (our air conditioner is sick) and this evening we headed out to the backyard for some fun in the sprinklers. Even Daddy was in on the fun. Both the kids LOVE water, so it was fun to see them enjoying staying cool.

I Am Lucky

... to have them in my life. I thank God everyday for the three of them.

Mega Legos

How cool are those?!? Noah thought they were pretty darn cool! I think he would have played 'mega' legos all day long if we let him. The kid has a love for legos already - he has mega blocks, duplos, legos - he even eats 'Eggo's Lego' waffles - so these were tons of fun to build and stack with. We had just pulled the kids out of the fountains and he was still wet from playing when we found a new play area full of soft climbing structures, slides, tunnels and these extra large size legos.

Over the hills and through the woods...

to Grammy's house we went -Noah has so much fun playing with his Papa and Grammy. He loves playing with his cousin Colin and on this trip we got to meet Baby Eliot, Colin's new brother. It is always so much fun to watch these boys play together. We so enjoyed seeing everyone and spending time with them.

Fun Times

While in Tennessee we had fun with Mamaw, Aunt Chrissy, Uncle Chris, Emma, Chloe, Aunt Amie, Uncle John, Olivia and David this past weekend. It was great to relax and hang out with them.

Pure Happiness -

While visiting Tennessee my mom took us to Dollywood along with Amie, John, Olivia and David to ride the train. Noah was so excited - I loved seeing his face as he rode along.

New teeth = No fun

for anyone - especially not this baby girl. Poor Rachel - it was a rough day today... She tries to be happy, but those teeth have been getting the best of her. The top right one is definitely through though!

So happy to be sitting up-

Rachel is so happy to be sitting up. She is able to do so many new things now that she can sit in the floor and play. She still flops over occassionaly, but for the most part, she's got it!

Playing at the Park

We headed out to the park for a while today. Noah was ready to hit the playground and I was more than happy to let him while I tried out our new digital camera (Yay!). Rachel was happy to just be along for the ride. She loves being outside. It was a good day.
