The kids decided it was time to write their letters to Santa Claus tonight. I love watching their little minds work as they figure out exactly what it is they might wish for this year. Rachel knew exactly what she wanted and set right to work. She made all the letters of each word herself, while I spelled them for her. She only has a little trouble remembering how to make a couple of them like M and W. Noah had a couple of things he knew for sure that he wanted, like Harry Potter legos and books, and then decided to pour through the toy catalogs for more ideas. Kate kept herself busy for the most part of the letter writing, but decided, she too must get her wish list on paper. She made her wishes known when she came to the table asking "Paper? Colors?", so we set her up in the chair with her own supplies. After finishing writing his own letter, Noah decided he would translate Kate's for Santa, letting him know what she wanted. I love these little people. So much!
