Happy 5th Birthday, Kate!!

Kate had a wonderful day celebrating her birthday with family and friends. She chose to celebrate with a Princess theme and loved every minute of it. She was excited for everyone to come over and play and that SHE was the center of attention for the whole day. She has been talking about this day since Rachel's birthday…. and through Noah's birthday and finally, finally it was her special day. The kids ran and played hide and seek and played in the tent in the playroom before sitting down to sing Happy Birthday and share Princess Ruffle cake, mini cup cakes, ice cream and marshmallow pops. After cake she was so, so excited to finally open her presents. She was excited to find new legos, a Frozen doll gift set with Anna, Elsa, Sven and Olaf, the movie Frozen, an Ariel kite, some play dough, an adorable tea set from Mamaw and two beautiful new dresses, a few activity books, a play and color fun dog and carry bag and a Jake and the Neverland Pirates spy glass! So much fun! I seriously can't believe you are five years old, Kate. I know you had a very special day celebrating. We love you so, so much!! Happy birthday, Kate!!  Also sending out a special thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate our sweet little FIVE year old! 

Tomorrow She'll Be 5...

...and that is amazing for me to think about. The time has gone by so very fast. Kate is such a mighty spirit for such a tiny girl. We love her to bits. She loves Disney Princesses (especially Anna and Elsa from Disney's new movie Frozen). Her favorite color has recently changed. From blue to pnk and purple. She loves art - of any kind. She loves to paint the most I think. She likes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Tom $ Jerry, Scooby Doo, Sophia the First (Disney) and any of the Disney movies : latest favorite is Dumbo. She can wok a Kindle better than I can. She can read about 35 words and loves her preschool. She can't wait to go on Mondays and Wednesdays... I can't believe she will start Kindergarten next year... She has the biggest temper of the three kids and loves to be in charge... Most of all she loves to make people laugh. She'll do anything to make you smile. We love her sweet, joyful and loving nature. We love you Kate!!

Hammers: First Game of the Season

 Noah had his first game of the season with The Hammers, his returning team from the fall season. The boys played really well and did so good considering they had two players out sick. The game ended as a tie 5-5. The opposing team was John Huffman's team and they're always good competition. Noah played really well and Doug and I were really proud of him. He played all four quarters and he was exhausted afterward. Although we are used to Noah playing defense, he played offense the entire game and had several assists. Looks like it's going to be a great season! Go Hammers!

 Happy St. Patrick's Day from our family to yours! We spent the day all together hanging out -playing games and having fun together. Good times.

Look Rock Hike

 Oh how I love to take these kids hiking. Good thing is, they love it too! Look Rock is always a quick and easy hike. They love it, I love it…. it's win, win.
