School Christmas Parties

I was excited to be able to go join Noah and Rachel at school on Wednesday for their Christmas parties at school. It was so fun seeing them be with their friends and celebrating the season together. I started the day in Rachel's classroom while they had their 'party', which was actually more of a craft station rotation hour. I manned the 'tattoo' station while the kids made their rounds at several stations: Nail painting, making reindeer food, making an edible Christmas tree, making reindeer antler hats, decorating the packaging for Mom & Dad's present and more. The kids all had a super time while they were busy making all their projects. After the crafts were finished we headed outside for some recess time before having a book and heading to lunch. Rachel got to pick four girls to eat with us and it was nice to get to know a couple more of her friends a little better. Cute, cute girls. :) After lunch I waited for Noah to come down to the cafeteria with his class and sat with him and two of his friends while they ate lunch. Boys are so funny - they'll do anything for a laugh. After lunch we headed over to his classroom for his party where the kids did some crafts and enjoyed some special treats. I enjoyed watching Noah interact with his buddies. It was a great day and I was so glad I got to share it with them. Miss Kate had a lot of fun staying with her Mamaw while we were busy at the school. I know this because she didn't want to leave when we went to get her... :) Later that evening the kids gave us our Christmas presents that they made for us at school. Noah made us a cool snowman ornament and a picture frame he painted with a picture of him in it. It was very cute! Rachel gave us two ornaments she had made using her fingerprints and also a picture of Santa Claus that she had drawn herself. Everything was beautiful! They both did a super, super job on their gifts and we loved them all!
