Doug, Noah, Rachel and I decided to 'get away' for couple of days last weekend. We left Kate at Mom's - She was absolutely tickled with that anyway (lol). We drove down to Chattanooga and decided to take the kids to see Ruby Falls the first day. It was cool because I had been there as a little girl and remembered liking the falls. Doug had been also - but he didn't remember going, so it was an experience for him as well. Rachel seemed a bit nervous, but climbed into Doug's arms and was fine. The kids thought the cave was interesting and I love how Doug always explains everything to them - they learn so much that way. There were a lot of things to see and the caverns were amazing. Rachel adored the waterfall because the lights were pink and purple and there was 'pretty' music playing when we got there. Noah thought it was all pretty cool as well. It was fun to see their reactions to everything and they had lots of questions as we wondered through the cave. After seeing the falls we went downtown and enjoyed some Chee Burger, Chee Burger for dinner before we headed back to the Hampton to swim. It was a great day! Lots more photos of our trip to Ruby Falls can be viewed here!
