Happy 4th Birthday Rachel!

I think she had a good day.... It started out with me waking her up singing Happy Birthday to her and she woke up with a HUGE smile on her face. She says "I'm FOUR today!!!". She was so very excited. Breakfast was chocolate chip pancakes per request. After which we got ready for our day and headed out to the mall to meet up with Mamaw, Aunt Chrissy, Chloe and Lydia. We had her pick for lunch - Pretzels at the pretzel place in the mall after they had played and played at the little play area. After leaving the mall Chris and the girls came by our house to play until it was time to pick up Noah from school. Daddy joined up with us not too long after that and we headed over to Grammy and Papa's house where Rachel had a blast opening up her gifts from them. She was so very excited to get a new digital camera of her very own, a Hello Kitty scrapbook kit, a Hello Kitty shirt and a few other little goodies. We went to dinner at O'Charlies where she had Mac & Cheese with a side of Cheetos... What can I say... it's her birthday... After dinner we headed back home for Hello Kitty cake and ice cream and to open a couple more presents from us. She told me she had the 'bestest' day - that she loved her birthday. Mission accomplished. I love that little girl.

Where has the time gone? It has just flown by and the idea of her already being four is just amazing. I can't believe it has been four years since this precious girl joined our family. She continues to amaze us and make us laugh every single day.

First Tooth

Kate had her first tooth break through the surface today! I thought for sure it was going to be the right bottom front, but the left one popped through first. I'm sure that right one will be there any time. They have both been lurking just under the gum for about a week now. I'm gonna miss those gummy little smiles! I know I'll love those toothy grins just as much though! =)

Basketball Practice

Noah had his first practice tonight. He did really good dribbling the ball and shooting. He also was really cute to watch as he practiced defense - It was funny watching him scoot sideways and wave his arms. Doug didn't get to go with us as he had to work, but I think we talked about 5 times on the phone during the one hour practice. I know he wanted to be there very much. I look forward to watching Noah improve and play at his games. =)

Little Cutie

This baby is so easy to please right now. The only time she fusses is when she sees us eating something and she isn't eating too. She's as happy as can be until she sees someone put something into their mouth (yes, even a piece of gum) and she will absolutely howl until she gets something to eat as well. She can have just eaten a big meal - doesn't matter. She loves to eat... I would say that she is definitely related to us. She loves to play on the floor nearby to where ever I am. She still loves her playmats and her mobiles. She's using her bouncy seats and swing less and less but still loves her exersaucer as much as ever and has been trying out the tigger jumper - still not too sure about what to do in that one. She sits up really well now and usually only falls over because she wants to. It won't be too long before she's crawling as she is all ready beginning to make her way to where she wants to go by either rolling or creeping along. I can't believe how big she's getting and how much she's doing!

Holiday Photos

I usually have the kids pictures made every year at about this time. Thought I would give it a try on my own and got a couple of pretty good shots. I will tell you though that getting a good picture of the three of them all together is next to impossible! ;)
