Because he loves trains...

Because he loves trains so much we stop every time we see something like this- We found this beauty in Diboll, Texas. It was at a small town museum and you should have seen Noah's face light up when he set eyes on this train. The great thing was he got to crawl all over this baby. You can crawl up in the engine and explore the caboose. Doug explained every thing that he could about it and Noah was so into it. Inside the museum they had recordings of the actual train whistle and the chug-chug noises, which he also loved.

They loved the beach...

Noah loved jumping in the waves at the beach. We drove down to Galveston after being in Houston for the weekend and it was a nice little side trip. Noah loved the waves and finding shells in the sand. He warmed up quickly to the water and by the end of the evening he was jumping into the waves like crazy. Rachel liked the water too and also tasted her fair share of sand. I love the photo of Noah mid-jump with his shorts falling down. He was so funny to watch out there. I love seeing the huge smiles on his face in these photos.

The Pumpkin Patch

The kids had a blast at the Pumpkin Patch this year. Noah loved the hay stacks and also running down the long pathways of grapevines that were there in addition to the pumpkins. Rachel seemed to enjoy herself as well and even liked playing in the haystacks. Some sweet people snapped that last picture of us as a family - family pictures are rare, so we were happy to see how it turned out. =)

Choooooo Choooooooo!

"Just Keep Swimming, Swimming, Swimming" - Dory

Lots of fun in the pool. The kids loved swimming and playing with the water guns. Even the babies loved being in the pool and the hot tub. Good times.
