Noah had a lot of fun playing with Papa's boots one evening while we were there... He sat and played with them, looking at them and into them for a long time.

Thanksgiving At Mom's

It was so great seeing everyone at Mom's house this year with the new babies. Even the Chris's are expecting a new baby in March. So exciting all these new little cousins for Noah to play with! Olivia is such a cutie and it was good to see her again and see how much she has grown. It's always good when family is together. Poor Chris, we're going to be laughing about 'the broken chair' for years and years to come.... Mom made the usual awesome & yummy holiday spread and it was delicious. So much to be thankful for...

Thanksgiving at Doug's Parents

We spent the early part of the day at Doug's parents house for Thanksgiving. We shared our early meal with them, Doug's brother Donny & his wife Dodie. They shared some special news that they were expecting their first baby, due in December. So exciting that Noah will have another cousin to play with. Noah enjoyed eating real food this Thanksgiving - especially little bites of the turkey leg that Grammy & Papa fed him!

We couldn't wait to share one of our favorite restaurants with Noah -- Steak N Shake! He seemed to enjoy it almost as much as we do!

Crawl

Noah still hasn't become a great crawler. We are expecting him to walk before he crawls. When he tries to get started he immediately will drop to his belly and do the army crawl or just roll to where he wants to go. He gets so frustrated when we try to get him to crawl on his hands and knees.

Doug had a football toy box like this when he was little... we couldn't resist picking this one up for Noah when we found it. So cool!

Daily Happenings

I just couldn't leave these out... They are just everyday photos of the everyday bits that make up our day to day life. New hats, first time eating cookies, snuggling with Daddy, naked baby after a bath, baths in the sink, learning to stand up with help from the ottoman... Good stuff.

He Makes Us Laugh

Noah is such a funny baby... He does the silliest things sometimes and we just crack up. This face is a true riot. The story behind this face is he had a cold and he would sniff and scrunch up his nose as he was doing it. However once he saw how much attention it got him, he would do it all the time! He would make us laugh and then he would laugh too. We love this face.

His Abbie Dog

I got Noah a couple of dogs when I was about 6 months pregnant with him. One was a large golden retriever (Phoebe Dog) and the other was a medium german shephard dog (Abbie Dog). He loves to cuddle with these two dogs so much, which in turn makes me a happy mama. He also loves his Porsche Bear his Grammy & Papa got him.

Happy Halloween!

Noah was too little to go trick or treating this year, so he wore his costume to daycare (where I worked) to celebrate. I had to dress up as well, so I went as a nurse this year. Instead of bunches of candy, he got several Halloween books to look at and play with. He was definitely the cutest giraffe there!

Mamaw Bear

My mom got Noah this bear from Build-A-Bear. It's special because she recorded her voice on a button inside his arm. So whenever Noah wants to, he can push the button and listen to his Mamaw tell him how very much she loves him. I love it and he loves it. :)
