Sunrise at the airport - Doug had to be at work at 7:30. -

What an exciting night! Doug came home from work talking about going to Boomsday and I thought it would be a crazy night, but it turned out to be a very pleasant and exciting adventure. The kids LOVED it! We started the evening by heading to the Marriot and reserving a room, dinner at Outback (away from the masses of people) and then drove back to the Marriot with absolutely no troubles. From there we grabbed our chairs, walked down by Ruths Chris Steakhouse and Calhouns on the River to settle under the Gay Street bridge and watched the best fireworks show I have seen in a long, long time... maybe ever! The kids were in awe of them and their favorites were the heart and smiley face ones. I loved them also! After the show was over, we walked back up to our room to settle in for the night without a care or a worry for a bit of the traffic - Awesome! What a great treat - Thank you Baby!

Happy 3rd Birthday Lydia Gail!

We were happy to join Lydia and the rest of the gang for her third birthday on Sunday to help celebrate her day. She was so cute bouncing around and so happy because she knew she was the big birthday girl! The kids all ran around playing with their party favors and having a good time. We all shared cake and ice cream, watched Lydie open up her presents and let the kids jump in the bounce house. It was a beautiful day and the kids were happy to be outside. Love spending the day with family and helping a sweet girl celebrate her big day!

Fall Soccer 2010

Fall soccer started on Tuesday for Noah. So far he's had two practices this week plus a skills training. His games begin next Saturday. We're hoping for a good season!

Springbrook Park

I love seeing the kids play at this park -- It's the park where I played when I was little. This is where I grew up - right across the street for 15 years of my childhood. It's awesome to see them playing in the same creek and in the same fields as I did. I love that (and so do they). =)
