Carving Pumpkins

The kids did a great job with their pumpkins this year. They were both very careful picking out the shape of pumpkin they wanted and also they both drew their faces on again this year just how they wanted them to look. Doug and I carved them just how they drew them and they turned out so cute! This year I decided they were both old enough to help scoop out the 'guts' so I cut the tops off and let them go to it! Rachel kept a huge smile on her face as she scooped out her seeds and mess, while Noah had the 'Yuck!' look on his face. Kate wouldn't even stick her little hand into a pumpkin this year - not that I blame her! I added mine in the day after the kids carved theirs because it got so late!
