The kids were pretty excited to see everything that was going on at Home Depot when we showed up for the Kid's Workshop today. The Maryville and Blount County Fire Department and the Police Departments were there, along with the the Forest Service. They got to build a Fire Plane and then paint it and they got a small packet of LEGO's that made a fire truck and had a fire fighter in. They also got crawl in all the fire trucks, see Sparky the fire dog (mechanical, but funny) and pet the working dogs from the police departments. It was cool to see them so interested and I loved seeing them having fun. Renee and Alex joined us for the day and it was good to see them too. Love spending time with them. :)
