Rachel was so excited to meet Olympic Gold Medalist, Claire Donahue at the Meet today! She is such an inspiration to Rachel and it was cute to see how happy Rachel was to meet her and get to talk to her. I tried to get Kate to have a picture with her, but she was tooo shy. Rachel was a busy little swimmer today. She swam: Girls 10 & U 200 Medley Relay as the anchor, swimming Freestyle with Anna Wetland, age 6 (Butterfly), Allison Pye, age 9 (Breaststroke) and Kelly Wetland, age 9 (Backstroke). She also swam in the 25 Butterfly, the 25 Backstroke, 50 Freestyle, 50 Breaststoke and the 100 Freestyle. She did awesome and we are so, so proud of her! She said she had SO much FUN and I love it. I absolutely love watching her swim and compete. She is a natural and it's going to be great to watch her progress as she swims year round. Good job, Rachel!! I know Noah is looking forward to when he can jump in the pool and start swimming again!
