Kate had her very first swim lesson today with Miss Elisabeth at Green Meadow. She was super excited all day when I told her she was going to have 'Swim Practice' this afternoon. She had seen Elisabeth lifegaurding the last week at the pool and I had her talk to her several times so she would remember her from the previous summers and when she had taught Noah and Rachel how to swim. Kate only got just a little nervous when I explained that she wouldn't be wearing her arm swimmies while she was having the lesson. She did great though! She walked down into the water with a noodle and started the lesson. She let Elisabeth hold her while she kicked and she blew bubbles with her mouth. She still can't seem to blow air out of her nose (which is a little scary for her when she gets water in her nose). She let her help her go under water and she wore her 'big girl' goggles to swim. She was so darn cute. She did a great job and she can't wait to go again. Mom and I both had a good laugh or two at some of her antics -- She's a funny girl. After the lesson she and Rachel watched Elisabeth swim some laps. I know she is excited for Wednesday's lesson to get here now!
