The kids had their first swim meet of the season on Friday. It was an internal meet: Green vs White to get the kids times on all the events to prepare for the upcoming meets with other teams. The kids were super excited and maybe a little bit nervous. I was so proud of both of them! They both each swam four events: 25 Freestyle, Medley Relay (back), 25 Backstroke, and the Freestyle Relay. They both did a really good job. Each of them have improved on their strokes since last year. We are eager to see how their times have changed since last summer as well. I love to watch them swim. Kate was eager to jump in and swim right along with them and I had to tell her that her time would come. : ) It's good to be back in the summer swim team swing of things.
