It was Farm Day at the kids Summer Reading Program at school on Tuesday. They got to meet "Brownie", the three year old baby goat that Mrs. Berry brought to school for the kids to pet. It was pretty cute seeing them with her. They got to hear several 'Farm' book selections, color a coloring page, and do a word search. The kids love their summer reading program. Even Kate who gets to check out books as well as enjoy participating in all the fun. Rachel picked out three 'chapter' books -- A Katie Woo selection, Young Cam Jansen book and also a Little Critter Chapter book. She is so excited to be 'moving up' in the reading world. We are so proud of her! Kate picked out books by Eric Carle and Max Lucado - some of my favorite authors. Noah is reading The Hobbit right now and seems to be enjoying it very much. So proud of all of them!
