Kate had her 3 year well check up today and it went great! She weighed in at 27lbs 8oz and is at the 25th percentile. She is 37 1/4 inches tall and is at the 50th percentile. Her head circumference is 51cm and at the 97th percentile. Her development is spot on for her age and the doctor said she was very well mannered and well spoken for her age. (We did have a long chat about being calm and answering the doctor's questions because at her appointment for strep she was very cranky. ) She told me very calmly before we left to go to the office that she didn't want any shots OR for the doctor to put q-tips in her mouth or nose (strep & flu tests). I completely understood why she would say this and agreed with her. She did wonderful, letting Dr. Bean do all his exam tests without any problems. Whew. : ) So proud of her. Dr. Bean did advise me to put her back on 2% milk for the next year for weight and brain development. Her eczema has gone from mild to moderate and we will step up the creams and taking care of her skin.
Kate also had her hair done in her very first pair of braids today! It is so CUTE! She said 'Just like Rachel, Mom!!!!'. She was very excited and happy to look like her big sister.
