We were invited by our good friends Laura and Brooks to travel to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia this past weekend to help celebrate Brook's birthday. What an awesome cabin it was! I loved how beautiful and serene it was. The cabin was perfect - a 3 bedroom cabin with a livingroom, gameroom, den, 3 decks, a hammock, hot tub, horse shoe pit, a pool table, an outside fire pit -- so much to enjoy! There was even a trail guide box and hiking sticks left leaned up against the side of the cabin. For me, it was Heaven. I could so live in a place like that. Wake up to coffee on the deck with a gorgeous view, then a hike up (or down) the mountain. What a weekend! I enjoyed every minute of it and we had good friends to share it with. I also got to hold Maclain - Laura and Brook's precious new four week old baby. So sweet! We enjoyed football, good food and just hanging out enjoying each other's company. So. Good. :)
