Portraits

It's been quite a while since I had the kids pictures made - I think a whole year since I had Noah's taken and Rachel's last ones taken were at 9 months. I was glad to finally get them in a photo together. These were taken at Target in their studio in Maryville, Tennessee. They are really great with the kids there and take great shots. =)

Yay for Warm Weather!

Yes, we turned Rachel loose on the park - and she just loved it! It was her first trip to the park where she could walk well and she wanted to do everything. She slid on the slides, she played on the swings, she climbed the climbers and anything else her little legs could climb onto or carry her toward - she did it. It was cute to watch her as she explored and tested everything out. Noah had a lot of fun showing her what to do and how to play on everything. It was a new thing for him to have her to play with there. We have been having weather in the seventies and we are loving it. Let's hope it stays warm for a while so we can enjoy it! =)

Pretty Hair

Rachel is finally getting some hair - really, it's about time! ;) For a long time when ever I was at the store I would test out the little clips in her hair and see if they were too heavy for the little bit of hair she had. Finally the other day they were a good fit. She doesn't mind them and usually leaves them alone. She likes to look at them in the mirror and she loves to brush her own hair. We love to put little bows in her hair and it's great that we don't have to 'stick' them on anymore.

Happy to be Together

Noah and Rachel have really been all about playing together here lately. Noah likes to play in Rachel's room with her and she of course loves to try to play what ever he is playing... even if she doesn't understand it, she tries to help him, which usually makes him more than a little crazy. She loves when he plays peek-a-boo with her and he likes her to play Ring Around the Rosy. I love watching them play together and learning to get along with each other.

Breakfast Date

The girl likes McDonald's .... what can I say? She was so funny the other day after we dropped Noah at school we snuck off to Micky D's for a breakfast run. She was totally cracking me up. I love that third picture... I like to see her happy like this. She is getting all (yes, quite literally) all of her top teeth right now. Her molars and eye teeth on the top and the eye teeth on the bottom are all coming in and she has been a cranky thing. Hopefully we'll have a little bit of a break before the lower molars come in.

A Peek Into Noah's Big Day =)

A few photos from Noah's big day yesterday: His party at school, him playing with his balloons (and Rachel enjoying them too!), his excitement about his bicycle, a couple of him opening his presents and for those of you that asked me to post it, a clearer photo of his cake. He was so excited watching me ice his cake. He could not wait for me to do the red part. It was too funny- the whole time I had two silly kidlets asking for 'bites' of icing on their fingers! I don't know how I ever got the thing finished. The best part of yesterday is how happy and excited he was all day. He knew it was his special day. I loved that he was so into his birthday and that he enjoyed it so much.

Happy 4th Birthday Noah!!!!

Noah had a wonderful day today. It was a non-stop day that began with going to school and having a party with all of his little friends there with Cars cupcakes. Then it was home to his favorite lunch (Mac N Cheese, ofcourse), but only after he had checked out his new bike and his balloons. Later tonight he had fun playing with his friend Braxton and having dinner, cake and ice cream, then opening his presents. I have tons of photos (you guys know I do!), but I'll just leave you with these few for tonight. I love how happy he looks and I am so happy that he had such a good day. Happy times.

Tomorrow is Noah's 4th birthday. It is amazing that he is so big already and the time has just flown by. He is so excited to be four. Just tonight after his bedtime stories he was telling me that tonight, he is three, but tomorrow he will be 4. It has been an amazing four years... just amazing.
