Happy 12th Birthday to This Guy!

Oh, how did he ever get this big? Seriously?! Twelve Years Old… and going to pass up Mama in height any day now… He is such an amazing guy. The very best quality about Noah… is his heart. I have never known anyone like Noah. Ever. He is what I strive to be every day. He is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I've ever known… and I'm lucky, because he's my son. He is still a straight A student… loves to swim for the Middle School team at Maryville, LOVES to be with his friends… loves X-Box, Pokemon, STAR WARS… his family and his dog. He's growing so very fast.
We celebrated with his closest friends, eating pizza and Minecraft cake… All he asked for this year was my peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes, which I was more than happy to make for him… But he needed a cake too (who doesn't need a birthday cake?!) , so I surprised him with the Minecraft cake and he loved it. Love this boy. SO MUCH! Happy Birthday, Noah!! We love you!!

Tomorrow She'll Be 9

She arrived one week shy of a month early… She's always been in a rush to just about everything… Still, I can't believe tomorrow she'll be NINE. Amazing.
She is such a responsible and sweet girl. She has her stuff together and keeps the other two in line.. I know that if I need something done or taken care or, it's her name I call. She is so very mature for her age…and still, she's only nine. She still loves Disney (thank goodness!) and playing with her dolls. Top of Christmas list this year -- Julie, the historical 60's American Girl doll.  While she is becoming more and more interested in clothes, shoes and jewelry, I'm glad to see her hanging on to her dolls as she grows… There's no rush, baby. We love you sweet girl.

Frankie, A Hippie and Cutie Pie Witch…. Happy Halloween!! 2014

It rained. It was chilly. They didn't care. We didn't care. We still had fun. :) That's what matters. Our house for the last three years… It's becoming tradition. I hope it holds. I love seeing these kids trick or treat. I love their faces-- their smiles… their glee. The one night of the year they get to dress up how ever they can think up and 'be'. I love it. They're all getting so big and I know the days of Halloween and dressing up, candy, glee won't be here forever… but for now, I'm soaking up every little bit that I can. Love it.
