Kate's 1st School Supplies!!

Kate was so excited to go and pick out her own school supplies!! Her list included a 3 prong folder, loose leaf paper, black Ticonderoga pencils, Crayola colored pencils, and 24 count crayons. She felt so big time and she was so, so excited that the next day was first day of school!! Buying school supplies must have worn her out though! Somewhere between Target and the house (about 3 minutes apart), Kate fell asleep!

Happy 8th Birthday Chloe!!!

We got to spend the afternoon celebrating Chloe's 8th birthday with her and all the family. We all met over at Sandy Springs park for the kids to all play together and share some cookie cake. Chloe seemed very happy and all the kids played hard before we all got together to watch presents be opened. :) We hope she had a great birthday!! We love you, Chloe!!

Building 'Dusty'

The kids enjoyed making Dusty from the movie Planes! It's always a lot of fun at Build & Grow at Lowe's. :)

Open House at Kate's Preschool

 We had Open House at Kate's school tonight. She was so, so excited to go meet her teachers and see her classroom! She met Mrs. Melissa and Mrs. Kelly who will be teaching her class and she was so excited to see all the cool things in her classroom. The theme for August is 'camping' and the teachers even had a really cool camp fire set up in the middle of the carpet area. Kate got to see where to put her name in the chart when she arrives, where to put her snack drink, hang her bag on her hook, place her lunchbox on the floor and also where her cubby is where her art box goes. She learned where her 'home folder' gets put and also where her name is with her behavior chart. She loved seeing the kitchen and baby sections of the room. We know she is going to have so much fun here. Rachel was in the same room when she came for the four year old classroom. Kate can't wait for Monday!!

Kate's Last Swim Lesson

I am so sad that today is Kate's last swim lesson, but she has come so far this summer and done so well! Elisabeth has done an amazing job teaching her and we thank God for placing her in our life. She taught all three of our kids to swim and they all three adored her. Kate loves to swim and can't wait to get to the pool on most days. Thankful.
