Soccer Game -- April 28, 2012

 Noah played awesome at his soccer game today! We were so proud of him and loved watching him play today even though the game was a loss. It was great to really see him get in there and try hard. The day was amazing weather wise and we finished it out on the deck grilling, eating good food and then later all the kids piled up and we watched Lord of the Rings.

Long Walks

 The kids and I have been taking long walks (in lieu of the treadmill) several times a week and they seem to enjoy it as much as I do. We have gone several different places lately and our latest walk was in down town Maryville. I had never walked that particular section of the Greenway and it was fun to see where all the trail twisted and turned to. Lots to see as we walked along -- the kids loved the tunnels, bridges and stairways and seeing all the ducks along the creek. Rachel got a big splinter from one of the wooden fence posts and she wasn't a happy camper for a bit, but was all better as soon as we got home and removed it. We walked from the Jack Greene park by the courthouse over to the kids pediatricians office and by the library. Quick group shot taken in the library window. Then down and around the Greenbelt trail (it's closed right now) and back up and around in a big circle to where we started. It was a good walk. Love that first picture. Love my babies.

 I wanted to get some shots of Kate just after she turned 3. She is so funny - she makes us laugh every single day. Just tonight I walked into the kitchen to find her 'roaring' at the top of her little lungs. When I asked her what she was doing, she said she was trying to scare an ant away. I love her quirky little smile - I love her inquisitiveness. She loves pink and purple. She loves anything Disney right now - especially Lion King or any of the princess movies. She also loves Mickey & Minnie. She keeps telling me we need to go back to Disney World so that she can talk to Snow White. Because she loves her. So sweet. Her favorite foods are Mac & Cheese, PB&J, Cheetos, Chicken, Apples & Grapes, & Oatmeal. She loves to ride her tricycle and still loves her little cars. She loves to draw circles. She loves to dress up in tutus and dance - especially with Rachel. She loves Llama, Llama books. She loves to sing and can make anything into a song. She loves to go to the park, swing and play in the sand. She still loves Elmo, Max & Ruby and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She is growing up way too fast --- but she'll always be our baby. Love her so much!
