He's a big kid now!

as Noah says - "Just like Daddy & Mommy". I was worried he would miss his race car bed, but he was so excited to have this new bed. The first thing he did when he got home from daycare today and saw it in his room was run and jump on it. ;) He couldn't wait to go to bed in it tonight either...

Look at me!

Chuck E Cheese

We took our little dude to Chuck E Cheese today. He must have been talking about it at Daycare with his little friends, because he got really excited to go when we mentioned it. He had fun on the rides and in the tunnels in the sky. He has a sheer terror of any kind of character right now though... You can see how 'excited' he was to see Chuck in the show.

Cute little baby - Great big bath tub

Rachel had her first bath in the big tub tonight - and she loved it. She thought she was something sitting in the bath seat in the tub. Noah also thought it was really cool that she was sitting upright in the tub. She liked checking out the toys and dipping her little hands in the water to splash. Good times.

90 Degrees and Climbing...

and it's HOT. Noah has been enjoying playing outside in his sandbox - thank goodness for the shade umbrella above it. He would roast if he was sitting in the direct sunlight. He has been having fun with his sand toys and a bunch of little jungle animals we picked up today. He loves lions - can't get enough of them. He has a 'Daddy' lion and a 'Noah' lion that came in the packet and they are his favorite animals out of the whole set.

Another day at the zoo...

We always love a trip to the zoo. I think I could go once a week and not get tired of it. Good thing Noah feels the same way. He always gets excited about seeing the animals and every trip he seems to see more and enjoy more. This trip it was all about the lions. He is quite taken with them. He loved checking out his 'Big Cats' Zoo Book before we left the house and then talking about the lions the whole time we were there - we got lucky this trip - they were awake and laying in the sun (just for Noah, of course). ;)

Green Beans

Rachel had her first taste of 'real' food (you know, other then the tasteless variety of baby cereals or the occasional tiny bit of refried beans smeared across her lips by her sweet Daddy) tonight - Green Beans. She didn't skip a beat between her last bite of oatmeal and the first four bites of green beans, gulping them down like it was old school for her. Then she started to shiver and frown... Guess we'll see how she feels about them tomorrow...

He Takes It Everywhere We Go...

Who'd have thought it would be an airplane that he would get so attached to here lately... I don't know if it is because it's legos, or if it's just because Daddy made it just for him that he loves it so much, but this airplane is his number one toy right now. He got a lego airport from his grandparents for Christmas and we pulled it out a week ago and started building on it. He loves to play with the 'lil Dudes (as he calls them) and put the tiny suitcases in the airplane. He plays with the whole airport and likes to put the 'dudes' in the tower as well - of course that is Daddy in there working and talking to the airplanes. He's too funny. We love to watch him play.

He Melts My Heart...

Yesterday we all woke up feeling 'not so good'. We all snuggled back up in bed and slept for about an hour. When I woke up I was trying not to disturb him - it didn't work. He woke up and then whispered the sweetest words I've ever heard.
"Mommy? Mommy? Mommy, I love you so much."
Could there be any Mother's Day gift sweeter than that?

The wonderful thing about Tigger, is Tigger's a wonderful thing...

Rachel enjoying her new Tigger Bouncy Seat. She is still trying to figure out the whole bouncing thing on her own, but so far, she really likes it. She is quite taken with the tail sticking out the back!

He loves washing his hands...

or should I say, filling the sink up with water and splashing in it!? Hey, as long as there is soap and water involved, it gets the job done, right? He actually is good at the whole hand washing thing. I know his teachers at daycare were amazed that he likes washing his hands. They have to make all the other kids go back and wash when they go potty. Speaking of the potty, it looks like we may have that one conquered *knock on wood*. Noah has been doing AWESOME for the last few weeks - We are proud & happy parents. As Noah says - Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Yay Noah! =)

She loves a bath...

Man, BOTH my kids love baths! They totally calm them down and make them happy as little ducks splashing around in puddles. You gotta love that...
