Kate had a great birthday today! She woke up this morning to me singing 'Happy Birthday' to her before we had to run Noah and Rachel to school. On our way back she asked me if we could get a do-nut - of course! :) So to Starbucks we went because we (Kate and I) love their old fashioned do-nuts. Great idea! We went home and snuggled up to watch her current favorite movie: Lion King 2 and she got to unwrap one of her birthday presents. After that we got ready to go see Mamaw and took her to lunch with us. Kate picked Chickfila and off we went. She got to spend some time with Mom while I ran to the doctor's office and after that it was time to pick up the kids from school and have a little nap with Daddy. We headed out for Shoney's for dinner and afterward we shared Kate's little birthday cake for desert. She was so excited to blow out her THREE candles. She did a great job too! It took her one blow per candle, but the look of glee on her face with each one was priceless! We played a round of R2D2 Operation and then read some books and snuggled. What a wonderful day! Happy Birthday Kate-Kate! We love you so, so very much! I cannot believe you are three years old!
