The teacher's Aid - Mrs. 'Jackie' Hendrix
Noah and his best friend Hunter.

Noah graduated from Kindergarten!! I cannot believe he is a big first grader now! It is so amazing that he is six and has already finished his first year of school. The time is truely flying by. Noah had a great day. He was very excited to have his Grammy there also to watch him graduate. He recieved lots of awards at his graduation - His Graduation Certificate, Certificate of Language Arts Achievement, Certificate of Good Conduct, Art Achievement Certificate, Certificate of Good Attendance, All Star Reader Certificate, and a Certificate of Achievement for knowing all of his Sight Words. We are so very proud of him. He's growing up so very fast. We love you Noah!!!

Linda's Playhouse Revisited

I had been promising Rachel for weeks to take her back to Linda's Playhouse and hadn't only because Kate was so little, and with the flu and strep throat running rampant lately, I was a little weary. However, you can only put off a sweet three year old girl who is terribly anxious to go there and play for so long. So we headed out -- We stayed there and played for three hours straight. We were the only people there and Rachel didn't mind a bit. She went from thing to thing playing to her hearts content. She painted a picture, moved on to the hair styling area, worked a long time at the work bench and building wall, played in the grocery store, dressed up in the dress up area and then took off for the upstairs tea party area. You can tell how excited Kate was... She slept through most of the fun. ;) I'm glad Rachel had such a good time and I'm sure we'll be making a return trip to Linda's before our move.

8 Weeks

Kate is 8 weeks old today -- and look at that giant smile! There it is Daddy - You said she hadn't smiled big yet -- there you go! She is really changing everyday - She is so much more alert now and really starting to notice what's going on around her. She is holding her head up better everyday. Every day she gets more and more precious!

Guess who slept through the night last night???

Kate made it all night last night from 11:30 - 5am! Wooooooo-Hoooooooo! Makes for one happy and relatively well rested Mama! ;) I snapped this picture this morning as she napped in her new bouncy seat. She's such a sweet little thing.

Sunglasses

These pictures are actually from the day of the last soccer practice. I was going through photos and found them again and knew I had to share them. Had to laugh at the baby girl in her sunshades (or rather Rachel's sunshades) and Rachel wearing Noah's cool dude blue shades, which actually make pretty cool chic shades as well.

Water Gun Fight!

Noah, Rachel, Kate and I attended a birthday party last Saturday where it was a water party - Lots of fun things to do and we got the birthday boy a Super Soaker watergun and a bunch of smaller waterguns. Noah was so excited to play with those guns that we had to get some for our house. Noah and Doug had fun having a shoot out in the backyard and the next day we took a bucket of water and the guns to the park -- I think every kid there joined in on the fun at some point. It was great watching them all run around and squeal at each other!

7 Weeks Old

Seven weeks old - She's really holding her head up for a good period of time and as you can see above, that smile is really starting to bloom. We love her sweet little smile and she's getting better at it every day! She's also really starting to round out - she's getting little rolls where she had none a week or so ago. It's about time she was getting chubby! =)

Last Soccer Game of the Season

The first thing he did when he got that trophy was run over and show Doug. "Look at this Dad!" - He was so excited! He really earned that trophy this year. He has really improved since the season began and that was with minimal practice. We are so proud of him! Today was his last game and Doug hadn't seen him score a goal yet (he had to work for all but a couple of games). Noah was trying really hard today to score a goal for Doug to see and he did it! Very cool!

Rachel the Photographer

I got the coolest little camera for Christmas for photos on the run - it stays in the diaper bag and I can snap pictures when ever I want (I totally love that!). Sometimes it's just not practical to tote around my big Cannon (even though I still love it) and so it's awesome to have this little camera (Thanks again Grammy & Papa!). Lately Rachel has shown a whole lot of intrest in taking pictures and asks me constantly to take them. The other day (while safely sitting on our bed = Soft ground for the just in case) I let her snap a few pictures and she was just tickled pink. She did pretty good and soon learned to line up her subject in the lcd screen so she could see what she was taking a picture of. She actually took a couple of good ones, a few with our heads cut off and then the odd photo or two of the boppy pillow and the bedspread... Over all, for 3 years old, I'd say she did pretty darn good! ;)
