Rachel's Valentine's Day Party

 I got to go and have lunch with Rachel and attend her Valentine's Day party at school on Valentine's Day. I always love going and seeing the kids in their element at school. Rachel loves when I get to come and see how she goes about her day and this was no different. Kate went with me today and seemed to enjoy herself as well. We started with lunch with Rachel and her friend, Gracie. We had steak and gravy with mashed potatoes, a roll and mixed fruit. After lunch, we went back to the room where the kids handed out their Valentine's and then had a party with ice cream sundaes. Rachel got a cute Valentine from her friend Henry that had a mustache on it and the kids all put them on. They were hysterical!! LOVED them!! Love their smiles. Loved going today and being with her and all her friends.

Learning To Write Her Name

 Kate is learning to write her name!! She was so, so excited and proud of herself and I can still hear her in my head shouting, "I did it! I did it! I did it!". She was so proud of herself and so was I! Her favorite letter to make is the 'swirly' e and the toughest one is the K.
