Rachel wanted her hair rolled up on rollers last night - she loves having her hair 'curly' for school. Kate decided she wanted to try having rollers in her hair also. She sat and let me roll her hair up very good and was very patient. When they were in, she made it about an hour before they started bothering her and we slid them out - her hair had already curled a bit! It was so cute! Before we took them out though, the girls were so funny and so cute together. I had to snap a few pictures of them together.

Sharks vs Parents (Last Practice)
Noah had his last practice for the spring soccer season tonight. It has been a great season and his team has really worked hard together. These boys play well together and it is sad to see it coming to an end. It was cute to watch all the boys playing against the parents -- they wanted to kick some bootie!

Noah's 3rd Grade Program
Noah had his 3rd Grade program tonight and it was the kids put on a great show! They were all supposed to dress as what they wanted to be when they grow up and there were all kinds of great costumes. Noah dressed up as an Oncologist. He often tells us he would like to grow up to be a cancer doctor. Makes my heart happy to hear him say that - I know he would be a great one!. There were several doctors, nurses, a pilot, movie director, teachers, artists, football players, soccer players, SWAT team members, police officers, military and many more. When we first arrived there was a sweet slide show of all the 3rd graders for the year up on the big screen. I loved seeing all the pictures. The kids sang several songs and of course, I cried. Love watching him sing and it was a super cute selection of songs. They did a few dances along with the songs and that was pretty funny. On the way out of the program Noah showed us that he had received his 3rd Raccoon Tracks award this year. That is a special honor at his school. We are so proud of you Noah!! Love you so much, Big Red.

Good Times
We had a lot of fun on Sunday spending the day with some good friends of ours, the Herrings. We took all the kids to the local park, where the splash pad had just recently opened up for the season. The kids were ecstatic! They were so excited to play in the water and on the playground. We spent a good part of the day there and then shared some pizza at Mellow Mushroom before heading back to their house for a fire pit. So much fun!! Good friends, good music, marshmallow roasting.... Good times.
