ANOTHER Tooth Lost!!!

Yep, just 2 days later, she lost another tooth. She had told me it was really loose, but it came out in a bit of a unique way.... We were all tickling each other up in our bed and she was under the covers hiding from me. I grabbed what I thought was Kate's belly, but turned out to be Rachel's face. Yep, I knocked out the tooth. Oops. She came up out of the covers saying 'Mommy! My tooth! My tooth!'. Bless her heart. I guess there are worse ways to loose a tooth.... She was quite pleased though, that the Tooth Fairy would be returning to visit her so soon. This one was the top right side -- You can see the hole in her smile. :) She's getting quite the grin these days...

Field Day 2012 (3rd Grade)

Noah had a great day today at Field Day. I got to go and spend the whole day with him and it was a lot of fun to watch! He did awesome this year on the climbing wall - He went all the way to the top! He was so happy and I was really proud of him. Last year he wasn't able to lift his weight well and only made it a little ways up the wall. He has worked really hard this year with his push ups and strengthening up his arms. I know he was a little worried that he wouldn't be able to make it and was super pleased when he hit that button at the top! It was funny to watch him try to ride the tricycle. His legs are so long that his knees hit the handlebars and when he couldn't manage it really fast, two of his friends helped push him along. So cute and funny. He had fun in all the water games and the sack race and ball hopper. I loved seeing the HUGE smiles on all the kids faces throughout the day. Doug got to come watch for about half the day and I know it meant a lot to Noah that he got to be part of the fun too.

Another Tooth Gone!

...and she's lost another tooth! She was so excited when her tooth came out after all the excitement at Field Day! What a couple of days she has had! This one was the bottom left in the front.

Field Day 2012 (Kindergarten)

Rachel's class had their Field Day on Tuesday and she loved every minute of it. I was lucky to get to spend the whole day with her and watch her compete in all the events. They started with a dance class, Yoga, Races in the gym and pushups/running, a 'Healthy Eats' class, and a snack. After that they did a round of big inflatables and the climbing wall. Rachel did awesome, making it a little more than halfway up the wall! I was so proud of her! After we all had a picnic lunch in their room we headed out back to the relay races, where they rode tricycles, sack races, ball hopping races, water games and more. It was really a fun day for all of us and wow, was she tired that night!

Rachel @ Six

I love this little girl so much. She is such a sweet girl and always worried about whether or not you're paying any attention to her. It seems like there is a whole lot of "What about me?" in her vocabulary these days.... I love watching her with her friends and watching her blossom at school. She loves her teacher and doing her work and tries so hard to make us proud. She's growing up so quickly. It's been a little hard to get a 'natural' smile from her and I knew on this day - after the Mother's Day program at school that it would be a good time to take some pictures of her. She was so, so happy that day. I'm so glad I led her outside and gave it a go. Doug and I both love these shots of her. Makes me happy to see the happy little girl smiling back at us. Don't worry Rachel, we're watching - seeing and noticing everything you do. We're so proud of you. Love you Sweetie.
