a Visit with Amie, Olivia & David

We had a great visit with Amie, Olivia & David this past weekend. It was great to see them and watch the kids have so much fun together. It was a busy, non-stop weekend packed with lots of playing outside in the sandbox, on the swings, on the climber and with sidewalk chalk, and playing with everything inside as well. Noah had a t-ball game Saturday that we all got to go watch and afterwards we took in a couple of hours at Chuck-E-Cheese (yes, we had four very tired kids that afternoon). I took a break from my camera while there and just enjoyed watching the kids have fun. It was nice to be completely involved for a change. We hit the local park and also let the kids ride bikes around the block. We were all exhausted but we loved every minute of it! =)

Mr. Potato Head

Rachel adores her Mr. Potato Head. She will play for quite a long time with this little dude. Her favorite thing to do is stick all the arms in all the different little holes. I love watching her play with this!

Flying

Both of our kids love this airplane. Noah lifted Rachel in with him yesterday and they had a blast flying together. Love that he plays with her like that. =)

I love these...

I have been shooting digital for over a year and am just now finishing the process of getting all my rolls of film developed - I know... I know... but I take so many pictures that I had a lot of film to develop. I came upon these today after getting them back from the developers and couldn't help but share them - look at the joy on his face! Love, love, love these shots.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Hope you all had a great day with your families. We had a nice relaxing one here at home. The kids loved everything the Easter Bunny brought for them. Noah enjoyed his chocolate bunny and in case you didn't notice... Rachel liked the Peeps. ;) It was so cold today that when we headed outside for our egg hunt we had to bundle up in winter clothes... what happened to spring?!?

Coloring Easter Eggs

Noah had fun coloring the Easter eggs a couple of days before Easter. Grammy and Mommy helped him get the colors mixed together and he pretty much did the rest. We let him pick the colors he wanted and how many of each color and also how long to leave them in the dye. Rachel was napping while Noah colored the eggs, but she loves to play with the plastic ones she found at the egg hunt.

A's -vs- Cardinal's - Noah's 1st T-ball Game

Noah had his very first t-ball game today! Even though it was freezing he did great and played several positions in the field including 3rd base, 2nd base, right field and left field. It was so cute to watch these little guys - they all did so good. Noah hit the ball really good today and we were so proud of him. However, I do have to say that there is a rail road track right next to the field and Noah can tell you exactly how many trains went by during the game. Forgive me for yelling into the camera... I tend to get excited for him! ;)

Legos with Grammy

We've been having a great visit with Grammy & Papa these last couple of days. =) The kids are having a blast. I finally figured out how to put a video on here... So, here are the kiddos in action! =)

Hunting for Easter Eggs

The kids were so cute today hunting for Easter eggs. Noah and Braxton were excited to get out there and start hunting for them and Rachel caught on really quickly until she discovered there was chocolate in the eggs and then it was more about getting them open to eat the chocolate. I loved watching them run around gathering them up and sneaking bites of candy here and there. It didn't take long for them to find them all and want to do it all over again. Fun stuff. =)
