I spent my second Mother's Day with my own Mom (although I can't seem to find a picture of her and I'm not sure why, I know I took some!), Amie and Chris at home in Tennessee. Amie and Chris were both celebrating their first Mother's Day. It was a sweet and special day for all of us to share it together. So much love and joy in our babies and in being with each other.
While we were visiting in Tennessee we took Noah on his first trip to the Knoxville Zoo. I loved seeing his reactions to all the animals and it was so cute to see his face while he was in the petting zoo with the goats and the llamas. We went with his Grammy and Papa and we spent the day rediscovering how much fun the zoo is through the eyes of a little boy. Another of his favorite parts was the river otters - he could walk right up to the tank where they were swimming and he would giggle and giggle as they swam by him. It truly was amazing to see him get so much joy out of our trip at just 14 months old. So very glad we went and enjoyed our day there!
Noah loved playing in the rain puddles... he would splash and splash. He got soaking wet and didn't care as long as he could pat the water and make splashes. He also laughed like crazy when Phoebe would get a drink from the puddle. The joys of a baby boy...
You guys crack me up. Doug and Noah making raspberries at each other... so funny. Noah would laugh hysterically when ever Doug would do it and then he would do it too!
Noah's 2nd Easter -- He enjoyed his Easter basket very much. He loved his chocolate bunny best of all and all the other goodies as well. So, so cute. He also received an airplane basket from his Grammy and Papa and a purple basket full of goodies from the girls at work. He was a lucky bunny this year!
Noah loves his Phoebe and Abbie Dogs. Phoebe loves him right back while Abbie tolerates his tugs and rough love. I'm sure they'll grow to love him even more as they grow up together.
