Elmo Shirt X 3

All three of our kids wore this shirt.... All three of them have loved the little red furry monster. I love that. I love that I have pictures of all three of them wearing this shirt. Silly, but sweet. :) It was originally bought for Noah's 1st birthday -- It's still in good shape and well loved by all three of them.... and me. Another funny -- That's Noah on his first birthday - yes, the shirt is big (size 2T - the smallest size we could find in it) and look at how big it looks on Kate at almost 3 years old!

Celebrating Noah's 9th Birthday

We celebrated Noah's birthday with family and friends on Sunday. I think he really had a great day! He started the day with several of his friends over for lunch and time to play before the party started at 2 with all the family. The boys ran around playing Star Wars, Legos, video games, and lots more. They all played together great (no broken walls this year!). Rachel got to have a friend over to play with as well with all those boys running around. She and Alex had a lot of fun playing dress up and gymnastics. At 2 everyone came together to sing Happy Birthday to Noah and watch him blow out his candles. After the singing we all enjoyed birthday cake, ice cream, cake pops, cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzel 'light sabers'. Noah was thrilled to open his gifts afterwards and got lots of Star Wars themed things, Legos and several gift cards he's already planning to spend on more Legos! Thanks to everyone who shared Noah's birthday with us and helped to make it such a special day. :)

Happy 9th Birthday Noah!!

We celebrated Noah's 9th birthday today as a family. He started the day with his friend Riley here, who had spent the night after his party yesterday. The boys had a lot of fun together - as usual. They have been good friends for years now and I am glad they are still close. We let him pick where we went to dinner and he picked his favorite - Olive Garden. That's the place he will usually pick when given the choice. :) After dinner we headed over to Target and let him spend a couple of the gift cards he had gotten from friends. They didn't have the set of Legos he wanted, so he picked out a psp game instead. He left a happy guy. Happy Birthday Noah! It's been an incredible nine years so far. We love you!

Tomorrow He'll Be Nine....

It is so hard to believe this boy of ours is turning nine years old tomorrow. Looking at all of these pictures of our guy, it's easy to think 'Where did the time go'? It has absolutely flown by. He is so completely excited for his birthday. He is a gift and brings true joy to both of our lives. We love you so much Noah! Hope your birthday is everything you wish it to be.
