Noah Has Been Here....

Always finding these little gems around the house. :) Haven't gotten many pictures of Noah lately -- need to fix that. He's usually tucked down in his room reading or playing legos. Love him.

Gymnastics

Tumbling class is back in.... Yesterday was the first day and I did not get a single decent picture. I blame a very cute little wiggly worm that was squirming all over my lap.... ;)

Heart Hair

We've been practicing for Valentine's Day.... Rachel was so excited to see this hair style that she couldn't wait to try it! Kate saw Rachel's hair and wanted hers done just like it. :)

Rachel's Well Child: 6 Year Visit

Rachel had her 6 year well child visit yesterday. She weighed in at 51 pounds (fully clothed with a sweatshirt jacket) [77%] and 48 inches tall [90%]. Dr. Bean said she looks perfect and seems to be a happy and healthy girl. Yay!

Menchies For Straight A's!!!!

We took the kids to Menchie's for frozen yogurt treats on Monday to celebrate both of them having straight A's at school! So proud of both of them!! Also proud of a little girl who's doing AWESOME at potty training! :) Happy parents all around. I think Kate enjoyed her yogurt, what do you think?!?

No More Diapers....

in this house anyway... She has got it. Pretty sure. She hates wearing diapers to bed (but hey, we have to use up that last super jumbo box of Pampers somehow...) and she is almost insulted when I have her put a pull-up on for when we have to run an errand or two. She really is doing amazing and she was so darn proud when we went to Target and she got to pick out her Repunzal (her choice) panties. She carried them up to the register and then carried the bag out to the car and we didn't even make it out of the kitchen before she had them on. So cute. Kind of sad that this house has seen it's last diapers... but so, so proud of Kate for being such a big girl!

Little Ballerinas

Rainy day = 2 sweet girls being Ballerinas = makes a mama's heart happy. While Noah was busy playing Harry Potter on the X-Box, I was entertained with beautiful dancing and I couldn't help but run for the camera. The girls love to play dress up. If there is music involved while they are in the act of said dressing up, then it turns into a show. I love how well they play together. I love to watch them play together.... and we all know I can't get enough pictures of them. :) I hope they are always, always close.

Visit With Amie, Olivia & Dave

We were so glad when Aunt Amie and the kids arrived the day after Christmas. It's always so much fun for the kids when they all get to spend time together. The weather on New Year's Eve was glorious! The kids were able to wear short sleeves while they were playing at the park. Craziness, but the sunshine was wonderful and it was good to get them outside and running around in the fresh air. We barbequed for dinner with hotdogs and hamburgers and it was just a really nice evening. The only thing missing was Doug - he was snoozing for his mid that night. It was a great last day of 2011.

Let's Go Roller Skating!

Mom gave all the kids roller skates for Christmas this year, so while Amie and the kids were in town, we all loaded up and headed over to the Skatetown in Fountain City. I think all the kids had a blast and they all did really, really good on their skates! It took me a few minutes to get my 'wheels' back, but after a couple rounds of the rink, it was just like old times!
