A New Kind of Flying...

We had a great couple of days out at the lake - Doug got a new wakeboard and is having fun learning the ropes with it. Noah got to tube in a cool airplane tube and Rachel adores her little boat that she can scoot around in. She loves to kick her feet and splash out there. Noah was so excited to go tubing in that airplane. He was having fun big time. We all love the time we spend together when we are out on the lake in the boat. Also in the pictures is Noah's little friend Alec - they have an absolute ball together.

A New View...

That top photo is how we see Rachel most these days... Crawling off to explore and tear her brothers toys apart. Forget any of the cool baby toys she may have... she wants the train track! Any train track will do - it all tastes good to her. She is getting to be a really fast little crawler and easily crawls from room to room now. We have to watch her like a hawk. I live in fear of little legos in the floor, but can't put them away as they are 'well loved' by Noah, although we do try to keep them in his room. She loves just cruising around and seeing what she can get into and is quickly discovering what 'No!' means.

THESE = 1 Very Excited Daddy

Doug has been wanting to go to a Cowboys game for years... We are really looking forward to going and taking Noah to see the Cowboys play.

The Greatest Show On Earth

We went to the Ringling Brother's Barnum & Bailey Circus tonight in Little Rock. It was fun to watch Noah get so excited about the acts. By far he loved all the animal acts the best. He was so happy to see zebras, horses, tigers and elephants... Rachel made it about half way through and then zonked out. She did really good considering it started right at the time she usually goes to sleep for the night. It was a fun evening for all of us.

She's 9 Months Old Today!

Our Sweetie is getting so big! She is crawling all over and starting to eat some solid foods. She is saying Dada and beginning to try out saying different sounds. We just love her to bits!

An Exciting Day for Noah

Noah has been having a little trouble with being afraid of the dark. As a result we decided perhaps it would help if he had a couple of new friends to share his room with. He was so excited to go get these new fish today. Vader (the black one), Nemo (the orange/white one) and Billy Bob (this one is named due to it's 'camoflauge' coloring...) Daddy came up with that after his idea of naming them fish - stick, sandwich and filet got vetoed. He was very pleased and excited to have them living in his room.

Today was also Noah's first day at his new preschool. He seemed to really enjoy the time he spent there and liked his new teacher, Miss Jennifer, very much. There is a whole wall in his classroom that is a one way window (mirrored on the kids side), so that we could watch as he participated in class. It was fun to watch as he danced the hokey pokey and held hands with a little girl named Maddie as they danced about. By the way, in his class of ten, only three of them are boys... Also included is a picture of our girl, so very happy to be in her Daddy's arms (as usual). She is definitely turning into quite the Daddy's girl.

Pushing Tin

Future Air Traffic Controller? - Noah enjoyed checking out the planes at the airport yesterday. We went in a little early with Daddy and took Noah (and Rachel) up in the tower. Noah thought it was pretty cool!
