Changes

Last Friday was your very first birthday and what a bash it was. Your Grammy and Papa came in to help us celebrate it with us. You have changed so much in the past year. It seems as though you are doing new things so much more often now. So much to learn and do and such a small boy still. Just today I nursed you for the last time. It is a great joy to know that I accomplished my goal of nursing you for the first full year of your life. I will miss this closeness with you. You moved up to the Duckling Room (Mommy's room) at work and I am enjoying spending each day with you. What a great joy to know that I will get to see each milestone- each and every new thing that you may do. Just in the last week you are making new sounds (finally saying Dada). You are balancing more and it won't be much longer before you are taking those first tentative steps on your own. It has been such a wonderful year. It has truly gone by in the blink of an eye. I will miss you as my baby boy, but I look forward to our times together in the years to come as you grow and continue to accomplish so much. I love you Noah.

Happy 1st Birthday Noah!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Noah!!! It is amazing to think that it has been one whole year since you were born. It seems like only yesterday you were making your arrival into our little family. Each and every day with you is a new and joyous blessing. We celebrated your first birthday with your favorite character - Elmo! Grammy and Papa flew out to join us on your special day. You were excited by the birthday balloons that we got for your birthday bash. You loved yanking on them and they made you laugh when they would bop you on the head. You worked your way through all the gifts that you recieved with a little help from Mom and Dad. But I think your favorite part of your day was definitely the cake. You did a good job eating your little Elmo 'smash cake' and got icing everywhere! I loved seeing how much you enjoyed it. It has been an incredible year, Little Man. We absolutely adore you and look forward to so many years and birthdays ahead. We love you!

Noah's First Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Noah enjoyed his first Valentine's day -- He got a lot of books, a Cupid Cookie Monster, a giant Elmo and more books from the girls at work, Clifford suckers and some heart peeps. He loved all of it! The giant Elmo sure made him smile. He also got a big box from Aunt Amie with Baby Einstein videos and a whole bunch of Baby Einstein character puppets. What a cool Valentine's/Birthday gift!! Thanks Aunt Amie!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!! Hope you have a wonderful day spent with the ones you love! I snapped a few photos of Noah for our valentine's this year and loved how they turned out. We loved two of them so much, we had two different valentine's cards that we sent! My favorite was the roses and Doug's favorite was Noah munching on the chocolates. Loved them both so much, I couldn't choose!

Airplane

Papa got Noah this rocking wooden airplane - and he loved it! He loved to ride in it and also he adored turning the propeller around and around. He had a fixation on anything that would spin. I had to snap a few pictures of our boy with his airplane!
